our partnership with Calvary Hospital Hospice, we are committed to providing the best quality of life possible
for someone who is seriously ill within the walls of Lutheran Augustana
Center for Extended Care & Rehabilitation.
Hospice care is the comprehensive management of physical, social, spiritual,
and existential needs of an individual with an incurable, progressive illness.
Hospice Care is delivered by an interdisciplinary team comprised of health
care professionals and trained volunteers. During the course of care for
the seriously ill resident, the well-being of the family members or the
informal caregiver is also of paramount importance. Our desire is to furnish
the emotional and practical support necessary during this difficult time.
