![]() In accordance with regulations promulgated by the New York State Department of Health, each employee must attend in-service education programs provided by Lutheran Augustana Center. As part of the continued employment requirements, employees shall be responsible for attending annual mandatory reorientations and/or in-service meetings, keeping the employee current on issues related to: 1.
Resident Bill of Rights2. Fire and Safety 3. Infection Control 4. Accident/Incident Reporting 5. Body Mechanics 6. Resident Abuse, Neglect, Mistreatment and Misappropriation of Property 7. Resident Privacy 8. Corporate Compliance 9. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) 10. Medical Emergencies & Elopement In addition to the above mentioned mandatory reorientation in-services, Augustana’s staff development coordinator prepares a monthly calendar of in-service programs relevant to the provision of resident care services. |
